What’s Wrong?
Admitting something is troubling you is a huge step in getting past it. Asking for help takes courage as well, especially in a culture where it’s not always encouraged. Now that you are here, you’ve gotten past the first two roadblocks. The last one is making the appointment. I know how hard that can be.
I think it’s safe to say that most people who walk into my office feel something is wrong in their lives and even if they don’t know what it is, they are seeking relief. I’ve helped hundreds of people begin (or continue) on a journey of healing, and I’d like the opportunity to help you too. Probably most of the inquiries I get are about depression, anxiety, trauma issues, loss and grief and changes in life circumstances. Many people are looking for a neutral person for support, validation, clarity and insight. Others are looking for healing in mind, body, spirit. Some have been struggling with mental health issues for years and the time has come for them to seek treatment or try new approach. Whatever you are looking for, it’s my job to provide you with a map to reach your goals in the way that works for you. You might want to check out my Services page to read more about the theories and modalities I use to help clients build the good life they want and deserve.
By the way, I also know the final roadblock is actually keeping that first appointment. Whether you decide to make it with me or with someone else, please keep it. I think you will find it worth your while.
